TCG’S FREE NIGHT OF THEATER
On October 18, theaters throughout the Washington area will join with theaters in communities across the country in a Free Night of Theater, an exciting initiative to bring new audiences into our nation's theaters.

Free Night of Theater is an unprecedented effort started by Theatre Communications Group (TCG) to attract new audiences to live, professional theater across the country.  The goal of the program is to encourage patrons to see their first live theater performance while giving regular theatergoers a chance to attend theaters they haven’t been to before.  The Washington area is one of 19 communities nationwide participating in Free Night of Theater in 2007.

This October 18, Signature is dedicating the entire house of The Word Begins to this initiative.

Free Night of Theater is your chance to:

  • See a professional theatre production if you have never been to a live theatre production before—for free!
  • Go to a theatre you’ve never been to before— for free!
  • Take a friend to the theatre who has never been to a live theatre production before— for free!
