FIRST MEETING

No, that’s not a description of Hairspray, but of Signature’s first book club selection: Katherine Stockett’s best-selling novel The Help. In a casual cocktail-enhanced conversation (if you haven’t discerned, we’re a big fan of alliteration), discuss the latest addition to the 1960’s race-relations cannon as well as the ever complicated process of adapting a piece from one medium to another.
