The star-studded event will support Signature’s artistic, education, and community outreach programs.

Why Funny Girl in Concert? Signature Artistic Director Eric Schaeffer has a love of Great American Musicals. But Signature can’t do full productions of them all!  This concert is a terrific opportunity to experience the rousing score of a most beloved show—all in Signature’s space. Musical numbers include “I'm the Greatest Star,” “I Want to Be Seen with You Tonight,” “Don't Rain On My Parade,” and “People.”

Come and enjoy this classic music by Jule Styne and lyrics by Bob Merrill, as only Signature can perform it!  As with Signature’s Theatre’s 15th Birthday Concert in 2005, this star-studded event is anticipated to sell-out, so please take advantage of this very special offer to reserve your tickets early!

Tickets to this special event range from $75 to $500 for special Producer-level tickets.

THE TRICKY PART
A One Man Play
Written and Performed by Martin Moran

A true story of sexuality, spirituality, and the mystery of the human experience, The Tricky Part is “a translucent memoir of a play... shattering” (New York Times). Between the ages of 12 and 15, the author had a sexual relationship with an older man, a counselor he met at a Catholic boys’ camp. Now 42 and an established New York actor, Moran has transformed his story into a riveting, often funny, and always surprising journey through the complexities of Catholicism, desire, and human trespass. Winner of the 2004 Obie Award.
