WHAT IS IT
As a Student Ambassador you serve as a liaison between your school and Signature Theatre. Through promotion, you help spread the word to high school, undergraduate, and graduate students about the season performances and special events. It’s also a wonderful way to kick up your résumé an extra notch.

DUTIES
Promotion and marketing tactics are not limited to those listed below. We are very open to new ideas. Just send us an email at studentambassador@signature-theatre.org.

  • Hang posters around campus facilities and community outlets, such as cafes, book stores, student unions
  • Include Signature Theatre site link on AIM profile, Facebook profile, MySpace profile, or other social networking sites
  • Write and post about Signature Theatre on social networking sites
  • Place postcards around campus facilities and community outlets
  • Distribute Group Sales brochures to various theater and arts group facilities
  • E-mail friends about upcoming programs and events
  • Text messages to friends about upcoming shows and events
  • Write about your favorite Signature Theatre performer, production, cabaret, or special event on blog
  • Get campus newspaper to include program or event in calendar.
  • Get campus newspaper to run feature article on program or event
  • Represent Signature Theatre at campus gatherings and festivities

In order to earn your free pair of tickets you are expected to promote at least four different ways to your school and community for each production. Click here to understand more about how to track your hard work.

HOW TO JOIN
Signing up is easy. Just fill out the required information below. Once you are signed up we will send a confirmation letter. We will also email you messages that you can forward to friends. New promotional materials will be given to you prior to the start of each new show.

Student Ambassador Program Progress Tracking
You will be required to supply Signature with the following in order to receive credit and tickets for your hard work.  Please provide all tracking in either one email or one mail package.

  • For poster, postcard, and group sales distribution we will accept digital or print photos of the various locations where you distributed these.
  • Send a dated copy of emails sent to friends.
  • Send a link to the MySpace, Facebook, or AIM page where Signature’s site link is added. If the link fails to work, please print and send page by mail.
  • Include and invite Signature Theatre to your posting, event, or social networking item.
  • Send a link to blog page.
  • Send tear sheet of school newspaper calendar where Signature show or event was listed. If an electronic version is available, please email us the link.
  • Email or mail pictures from events where you were a representative of Signature Theatre.
